Our life journeys are often not easy.
Clinical psychology provides a vast wealth of evidence and knowledge that can help us to understand not only our difficulties, why they developed and what maintains them, but also can help us develop the skills and tools to manifest long-term solutions.
I have spent many years assisting hundreds of people in gaining insight into a vast range of problems, including anxiety disorders, depression, stress and burn-out, trauma and self-esteem issues to name a few. By understanding the causes and maintaining factors to their difficulties, as well as providing the psychological tools for change, people are able to not just address their problems, but to keep on doing so, resulting in permanent and lasting change.
I offer therapies that will enable you to:
Develop clear insight into your difficulties and how they impact on the ways that you feel, think, behave and react in certain situations
Identify clear aims and goals for change
Develop the tools and skills required to make the desired changes to your life
Therapy is not an easy journey, but my empathy and understanding, and professional skills and knowledge, will support you through the process.
I currently only offer online appointments using Zoom. This is for a range of reasons, but ultimately it can help you, my client, to feel safe, to find it easier to access therapy as there is no travel time or costs to consider, and to feel anonymous as I will be less likely be within your community. You will be able to access our appointments from any environment where you feel safe and comfortable.
